- November Recap, November was busy at the winery with the Mason Dixon Wine Trail event, and our seasonal Pumpkin wine “Shades of Autumn” sold out in a record 2 weeks! Thank You to everyone who came out to visit us!

- Our 2nd Tasting Room & Wine Store at the Newberry Commons Mall in Etters just off the Yocumtown exit of I-83 is Now OPEN. The new store is right next to the Wine & Spirits Shoppe (State Store), and features Free Standard Tastings. Starting Nov. 27th, Holiday hours for this store will be Tuesday thru Saturday 1pm to 8pm. Stop in for Free tastings.
- SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – Join us as we Celebrate our 3rd Anniversary with a Tropical Holidays Party on Saturday, December 8th with Special Treats and a Jimmy Buffett Tribute by “Sons of a Beach” from 5pm to 8pm. This Party will be at our New Store at the Newberry Commons Mall. FREE Admission. Free Parking. Free Tastings. This is an Indoor event and there is a lot of space in the new store, but seating is limited, so bring your bag chairs, relax, sip wine, and listen to Jimmy Buffett tunes!
- We have just released 2 new bottlings: The new vintage of our Moonlight White, is now available for tasting and purchase. This vintage of our award-winning Vidal Blanc wine features delicate notes of apple, pear, and citrus.
Our other new release is our new vintage of Hummingbird Red, our dry red wine that many are already calling one of the best vintages of this wine. Lots of ripe fruit flavor into a robust finish makes this wine perfect with Steak or even Pasta dishes. Stop in and try both of these new wines.
- Recipe of the Month, Quick & Easy Potato Corn Chowder: This recipe is perfect for warming up a cold winter day. Brenda made this recipe for the Mason Dixon wine trail event last month and everybody wanted the recipe, so here it is:
- Ingredients: 1 medium onion, chopped; 1 Tblsp. Olive oil; 2 cans (14.5 oz each) chicken broth; 3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed; 1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, drained; 1 cup 2% milk, divided; ½ tsp. salt; ½ tsp. pepper; 1/3 cup all purpose flour; minced fresh parsley, optional; 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Directions: In a large saucepan, cook and stir onion in oil over medium heat until tender. Add broth and potatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Stir in the corn, 1/2 cup milk, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, whisk flour and remaining milk until smooth. Stir into soup; return to a boil. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until thickened. Stir cheese in until melted. Sprinkle with parsley if desired. Yield: 8 servings (2 quarts).
This goes great with Hummingbird Ridge Riesling, Sunflower, or Moonlight. ENJOY!!!

We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm at our Winery Store at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven and open Wed. to Sat. from 3pm to 8pm at our new Newberry Commons Mall store, and our standard wine tastings are free of charge at both locations.
