We had a great September at Hummingbird Ridge Winery, with a great turnout for our Soft Rockapalooza at the winery with Music Tributes to James Taylor, America, & Jim Croce. Our JOHNNY CASH tribute is up next in October, see below for details.

Saturday, October 5th: JOHNNY CASH Tribute by “Rock Island Line” from 1pm to 4pm.
This event will be at our Winery location at 735 Kise Mill Rd, Newberrytown (1/4 mile from Susquehanna Speedway). FREE Admission for this event. Free Parking. Free Tastings. This is an Outdoor event, so bring your bag chairs, bring your picnic lunch, relax, sip wine, and listen to Johnny Cash tunes!

October 18th & 19th: "Put A Cork In It" Relay for Life Cancer Society Benefit at Winery location at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven, featuring a 4 Course Food & Wine Pairing: Riesling with Cheese & Cracker plate; Chardonnay with Tortellini Vegetable Medley; Red Reserve with Bar-B-Q Chicken Croissants; Dessert choices-Raspberry Bliss with Chocolate Raspberry Cake and Chocolates by Cocoa Margaret or Hummingbird White with warm Apple Cider with Pumpkin Bars. $25 per person. Saturday, October 26th: TOM PETTY Tribute by "Acoustic Petty" from 5pm to 8pm for the 1 year Anniversary of the opening of our Mall store. This event will be an Inside event at our Mall store at the Newberry Commons Mall (right beside the State Liquor Store), just off the Yocumtown exit of I-83, midway between Harrisburg and York. FREE Admission for this event. Free Parking. Free Tastings.
*UPCOMING WINE TRAIL EVENTS
October 26th/27th and November 2nd/3rd: Hershey Harrisburg Wine Trail Cornucopia Fest. During this signature event, guests will have the opportunity to travel to 12 wineries over two weekends to experience our progressive Fall Festival! Each winery will allow guests to enjoy a unique element of the Quest at the wineries, while also sampling the handcrafted wines of that winery. Hummingbird Ridge Winery will feature a "Make Your Own S'more Bar". Each guest will also receive a souvenir glass to take to each participating winery and will receive a 10% discount on all purchases. November 9th/10th and 16th/17th: Mason Dixon Wine Trail "Wine Just Off The Vine" event. Explore over 20 wineries, including Hummingbird Ridge Winery, on the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail for the Wine Just Off The Vine event, where winemakers open their doors to give visitors an exclusive opportunity to sample nouveau wines.Tickets include:
• Admission to all wineries during both weekends of this signature event

- Our 2nd Tasting Room & Wine Store at the Newberry Commons Mall in Etters just off the Yocumtown exit 33 of I-83 is OPEN. The new store is right next to the Wine & Spirits Shoppe (State Liquor Store), and features Free Standard Tastings. Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 1pm to 8pm. Stop in for Free tastings.
Also at the new Mall location, we have opened a Wine Café, with tables where you can sit, relax, and enjoy wine by the glass. Food is also available from our neighboring restaurants New China and USA & I. You can order takeout and enjoy your meal with wine in our Wine Café.

Our motto is “Experience The Flavor” and our goal is for every Hummingbird Ridge wine to be balanced and flavorful. We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm at our Winery Store at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven and open Tues. to Sat. from 1pm to 8pm at our new Newberry Commons Mall store, and our standard wine tastings are free of charge at both locations.

Hummingbird Ridge Winery is “the Small Winery with Big Flavor”. Owner Tom Day began his wine odyssey as a teenager, watching his Italian grandfather make wine. When Tom started winning amateur awards for his own wines, he decided to open his own winery. With over 20 years of experience, he opened this microwinery dedicated to making wine in small batches, so that every aspect of the winemaking process could be meticulously taken care of, to craft wines with superior flavor and balance. Tom named the winery after one particular hummingbird that followed him as he first walked the property and that hummingbird’s likeness graces every bottle of Hummingbird Ridge wine.
