- We had a Fabulous Month in
July and we Thank all of you who stopped in to see us and all those
who came out to our Beatles Music Tribute with music by "The Day
Trippers"! A Fab time was had by all, including visitors from New Zealand
dancing to The Beatles music.
- Our "First Fridays" Summer
Wine & Music Series continues on Friday, August 3rd (weather permitting).
Come on out and enjoy Live music on the Wine Deck by "Will Play for
Wine" from 5pm to 8pm.
- Calling all Central PA Arts & Crafts Enthusiasts: Come on
out to the Winery on Saturday, August 18th for our Arts & Crafts Festival,
with local artists and vendors showcasing their wares. Free Admission. Free
Parking. Free Wine Tastings.
- If you missed the news, Ruby is Back!
Come and Get it. Ruby Elixir, our best-selling sweet red wine is back on the
shelves. And Blue Diamond, our unique Blush Port wine is better than ever and
now available for all of you Port fans! Come in and taste the latest vintage of
these 2 wines.

for info on The Newberrytown Wine, Chili, and Blues Festival to be held at
Newberrytown Peddlers Market on September 15th from 11am to 4pm.
This Festival will
feature wine tastings from PA wineries, a chili cookoff judged by festival
attendees, and some great Blues music, featuring the Queen of Blues Harmonica,
Octavia and her band. And Hummingbird Ridge Winery will be there too! For

The Festival is looking for Restaurants or Individuals who would like to show off their
chili recipe to be judged by festival attendees. 2 Categories for the Chili
Cookoff: Restaurant & Individual with Prizes. Entry Fee: $20 for Restaurant
Space (includes 3 winetasting passes, $60 value); $10 for Individual Space
(includes 2 winetasting passes, $40 value). Space is Limited. Reserve your
Space early. To Participate in the Chili Cookoff, call Brenda at 717-818-7473.
If you know of any jewelry, arts,
crafts or other vendors that would like to sell their products at the Festival,
have them contact Kathy at 717-932-4264.

- This month, we welcome another
restaurant that is serving Hummingbird Ridge wines. Please visit Hogan's
Restaurant at the Valley Green Golf Course at 1227 Valley Green Rd in Etters.
Great Golf and Great Food, and now Hummingbird Ridge Wine!!! Enjoy a glass of
Hummingbird Ridge wine while relaxing in their Beautiful Restaurant. See their

Our motto is “Experience The
Flavor” and our goal is for every Hummingbird Ridge wine to be balanced and
flavorful. We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm and
our standard wine tastings are free of charge.
If you belong to a group, club or
association and you would like a Private Wine Tasting for your group or your
group is looking for a unique meeting place during the week or weekend, please
call us at 717-315-0209 for availability. We hope to see you soon at the
winery!!!
- Our Wine Deck is now open for the Season! Take
a Break and Stop out and sip a glass of wine or bring a picnic lunch and enjoy
it on our deck. On a sunny day, a glass of Hummingbird Ridge wine sure
tastes good while relaxing on the Deck!!!

Lineup: We are a microwinery and we make our wines in small batches so that we
can focus on every detail of the winemaking process to craft the best wines for
you. So at times we will sell out of certain wines. The following wines are
currently available for tasting and purchase in our Tasting Room:
Red
Reserve, It’s back and Better than ever, the new Red Reserve is
Cabernet Franc and is available now at the tasting room.
Hummingbird
Red, Our classic dry red wine that is the perfect dinner
wine!
Semi-Dry
Riesling, our crisp semi-dry white with
bright citrus tones
Hummingbird
White, our soft and elegant semi-dry white
Wildflower
White, semi-sweet with layer after layer of tropical
flavors
Sweet
Dreams, sweet but smooth and flavorful
Ruby
Elixir, our semi-sweet best-selling red is Back in Stock.
Pordevino, our port-style red wine with layers of blueberry and cherry
flavor.
Pordeblanco, our port-style white wine, a unique flavor sensation with
delicate citrus flavors.
Blue
Diamond, Just Released, our unique Blush Port
Adams
Apple, our Award-Winning Apple Wine made from a blend of 5
types of York County grown apples!
- Here are our scheduled events for 2012:
August 3rd, First Friday at
the winery with extended hours until 8pm and Live music on the Wine Deck from
5-8pm with "Will Work for Wine" playing acoustic classic rock and
blues.
August 18, Arts & Crafts Fest
at the winery, Noon to 4pm. Any arts, crafts, or other vendors who wish to

8/9, Dauphin County Wine & Jazz Fest at Fort
