*SPECIAL EVENT!!! Saturday, July 27th: BEATLES Tribute by “The Day Trippers”
from 1pm to 4pm. This event will be at our Winery location at
735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven (Just off I-83 Newberrytown Exit 32, 1/4 mile from Susquehanna Speedway). FREE Admission for this event. Free
Parking. Free Tastings. This is an Outdoor
event, so bring your bag chairs, bring your picnic lunch, relax, sip wine, and listen to Beatles tunes!
Upcoming Wine Releases: Scheduled to be Released on July 5th:

Hummingbird Red, our popular Red
Table wine is back and features lots of juicy ripe fruit up front with a
complex finish, Great with Pasta dishes!

Chardonnay, We are finally
releasing our first Chardonnay and it is a Beauty. Bright Chardonnay fruit
combine with tropical subtones, with a hint of oak on the finish, Great with
white meats!
* Valkyrie Goldbaender (Honey Riesling Port, only available at
our Winery location). This is for all of you Port wine fans out there. But it’s
really much more than a Port. In fact, we think we have created a new beverage
category. Valkyrie Goldbaender is part Wine, part Port, part Liqueur, and part
Brandy. We don’t know of anything else like it! Here’s how it was created: The Valkyrie were immortal winged Guardians. According to
Norse Legend, they accompanied their chosen fallen warriors on their voyage
into Valhalla and provided them with sacred mead. Goldbaender is inspired by
the “Spirit of the Valkyrie” and honors their power and beauty with a
gold-flecked honey and citrus toned offering of strength and grace. Our crazy
winemakers have really outdone themselves this time!
Stop in and taste the new wines, all available on July 5th
at our Winery location at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven.
*July is Sangria Month at
Hummingbird Ridge Winery, featuring our refreshing Mango Sangria. Stop in and
sample Sangria recipes every Saturday in July at our Winery location.

- Our 2nd Tasting Room & Wine
Store at the Newberry Commons Mall in Etters just off the Yocumtown exit 33 of
I-83 is OPEN. The new store is right next to the Wine & Spirits Shoppe
(State Liquor Store), and features Free Standard Tastings. Hours
are Tuesday thru Saturday from 1pm to 8pm. Stop in for Free tastings.
Also at the new Mall location, we have
opened a Wine Café, with tables where you can sit, relax, and enjoy wine by the
glass, with Wine by the Glass Specials every week. Food is also available from
our neighboring restaurants New China and USA & I. You can order takeout
and enjoy your meal with wine in our Wine Café.
- ARTIST OF THE MONTH: Stop in at our Newberry
Commons Mall location to see an exhibition of spectacular Photography by
Meredith Kaminek. From her studio in Central Pennsylvania to a creek in
the woods, Meredith Kaminek has cultivated her career as a professional
portrait photographer since 1992. Connecting with people to photograph more
than what they look like, but who they are, has always been the true passion
parallel to her artistic eye.
Feeling a similar connection with nature,
Meredith has branched out to share her perspective of how everyday life and our
natural surroundings are genuine gifts...
...so long as you take the time to look at it
that way.
"...as I found it" is
Meredith Kaminek's recently published hard cover book, which is a collection of
her photographs of nature untouched, coupled with simple thoughts and
inspirations that she has written. Stay tuned for news about a Special
Book Signing night at our Tasting Room with Meredith.

Our motto is “Experience The Flavor” and our goal
is for every Hummingbird Ridge wine to be balanced and flavorful. We are open
on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm at our Winery Store at 735
Kise Mill Rd, York Haven and open Tues. to Sat. from 1pm to 8pm at our new
Newberry Commons Mall store, and our standard wine tastings are free of charge
at both locations.

Hummingbird Ridge Winery is “the Small Winery with Big
Flavor”. Owner Tom Day began his wine odyssey as a teenager, watching his
Italian grandfather make wine. When Tom started winning amateur awards for his
own wines, he decided to open his own winery. With over 20 years of experience,
he opened this microwinery dedicated to making wine in small batches, so that
every aspect of the winemaking process could be meticulously taken care of, to
craft wines with superior flavor and balance. Tom named the winery after one
particular hummingbird that followed him as he first walked the property and
that hummingbird’s likeness graces every bottle of Hummingbird Ridge wine. We
