Hummingbird Ridge Winery Wins Medal at International Wine Festival

Central Pennsylvania's Hummingbird Ridge Winery, only in business for just over a year, has won a Silver Medal with their very first entry into an International Wine Competition. Hummingbird Ridge Winery's Moonlight White, made from the Vidal Blanc grape, won a Silver medal last weekend at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Moonlight White was judged along with over 3200 wines from 19 countries.

Tom Day, owner of Hummingbird Ridge Winery, stated "This really validates our small batch process and our attention to detail through every step of the winemaking process. It is great that professional wine judges deem Hummingbird Ridge wine to be worthy of a medal."

Hummingbird Ridge Winery is located at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven PA in Northern York County. It is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
