- SEPTEMBER RECAP, September was extremely busy with 3 wine festivals, a charity benefit, and some large group visits to the winery. We met a lot of new friends at the wine festivals and we hope to see all of you at the winery soon!
- Exciting Announcement! We will soon be opening our 2nd Tasting Room & Wine Store at the Newberry Commons Mall in Etters just off the Yocumtown exit of I-83. Our new store will be right next to the Wine & Spirits Shoppe (State Store), so we hope that when customers are shopping for wine, they will stop in to the new store for Free Tastings of all of our wines.
We are waiting on final approvals from the LCB, but we expect to be open within the next few weeks. For October, the hours will be Wednesday thru Saturday from 3pm to 8pm, but hours will likely expand during the Holidays. Since the space is very large, we also expect to do some music and other events at the store, and we have space to hold Holiday banquets and private parties, so call us to book your party. Once we have final approvals from LCB, we will announce the store opening on our Facebook page, so if you have not already "liked" us on Facebook, make sure you do to get all the latest winery news.
- To coincide with our Cancer Society charity event, we are having a Pumpkin Decorating contest during October. Just decorate (paint, carve, etc.) a pumpkin and bring it to the winery during the first 2 weekends of October (Oct. 5,6,7, & 12,13,14). Winery customers will then vote for their favorite Pumpkin for 50 cents a vote during October. The winner will get a $25 gift certificate to Hummingbird Ridge Winery and all proceeds from the voting will go to the American Cancer Society. So be creative and bring a pumpkin in (must be over 21 years of age to enter because of adult prize).
- UPCOMING EVENTS
Oct. 5th, First Friday Happy Hour at the winery with extended hours until 7pm, with music on the wine deck by “Will Work for Wine” from 4pm to 7pm
Oct. 6th, Johnny Cash Tribute at the Winery, 1pm to 4pm, Music by "Rock Island Line", Free Admission, Free parking, Free Tastings. Bring your lawn chair, sip wine, and Enjoy the Music!

Oct. 27/28, Hershey Harrisburg Wine Trail Fall Event, 11am to 5pm both days, Receive a souvenir wine glass, 10% discount on wine purchases, taste wines before they are released, & special VIP "Meet the Winemaker" opportunities. Our motto is “Experience The Flavor” and our goal is for every Hummingbird Ridge wine to be balanced and flavorful. We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm and our standard wine tastings are free of charge.

- Our Wine Deck is now open for the Season! Take a Break and Stop out and sip a glass of wine or bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it on our deck. On a sunny day, a glass of Hummingbird Ridge wine sure tastes good while relaxing on the Deck!!!
- October Wine Lineup: We are a microwinery and we make our wines in small batches so that we can focus on every detail of the winemaking process to craft the best wines for you. So at times we will sell out of certain wines. The following wines are currently available for tasting and purchase in our Tasting Room:
Red Reserve, It’s back and Better than ever, the new Red Reserve is Cabernet Franc and is available now at the tasting room.
Semi-Dry Riesling, our crisp semi-dry white with bright citrus tones
Hummingbird White, our soft and elegant semi-dry white
Wildflower White, semi-sweet with layer after layer of tropical flavors
Sweet Dreams, sweet but smooth and flavorful
Shimmer, Just released, Flavors of honeyed lemon and candied apricot
Ruby Elixir, our semi-sweet best-selling red is Back in Stock.
Pordevino, our port-style red wine with layers of blueberry and cherry flavor.
Blue Diamond, our unique Blush Port
Adams Apple, our Award-Winning Apple Wine made from a blend of 5 types of York County grown apples!
