A big Thank You to all who braved
the cold and snow in February to stop in and see us at the winery. We had a
great crowd for the Neil Diamond Tribute with everyone joining in to sing Sweet
Caroline at the end of the night. And read more below about our BOB
SEGER Music Tribute coming up at our Newberry Commons Mall
location. A special shout out to everyone at the Restaurant at Royal
Manchester Golf in Mt. Wolf for the amazing food and service at their
Valentines Wine Dinner. It was a great evening!

Inside event at our Mall store at the Newberry Commons Mall (right beside the
State Liquor Store), just off the Yocumtown exit of I-83, midway between

Saturday, March 15th: BOB SEGER Music tribute by "Against the Wind"
from 5pm to 8pm. This event will be an Inside event at our Mall store at the

- Recipe of the Month: This months
recipe, "Strawberry Brownie Delight" was our featured food
pairing for the Hershey Harrisburg Wine Trail event last month. We had a lot of
requests for the recipe, so here it is:
Strawberry Brownie
Delight:
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray 9x13 baking pan with non-stick spray. Prepare 1 (21oz.) pckg of Brownie
mix per directions (except replace the water with Hummingbird Ridge Strawberry
Bliss wine). Cool completely. Spread ½ cup of seedless Strawberry jam onto
brownie. Melt 3 (1oz) squares of white chocolate and cool slightly. For
the topping, combine 2 (8oz) packages of cream cheese and ½ cup powdered
sugar. Whisk in the melted chocolate and ¼ cup milk. Fold in 1 (8oz) container
of Cool-Whip. Spread the topping over the brownie. Refrigerate, cut and Serve
with Hummingbird Ridge Strawberry Bliss wine and Enjoy!

We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm at our Winery
Store at 735 Kise Mill Rd, York Haven and open Tues. to Sat. from 1pm to 8pm at
our new Newberry Commons Mall store, and our standard wine tastings are free of
charge at both locations.

Hummingbird Ridge Winery is “the Small Winery with Big Flavor”. Owner Tom Day began his
wine odyssey as a teenager, watching his Italian grandfather make wine. When
Tom started winning amateur awards for his own wines, he decided to open his
own winery. With over 20 years of experience, he opened this microwinery
dedicated to making wine in small batches, so that every aspect of the
winemaking process could be meticulously taken care of, to craft wines with
superior flavor and balance. Tom named the winery after one particular
hummingbird that followed him as he first walked the property and that
hummingbird’s likeness graces every bottle of Hummingbird Ridge wine. We hope
